tiny D!

tiny house D is off the ground. We’re really excited about construction again.

It’s foliage time and Nelson County is busy busy! We’re working as hard as we can to provide another cozy place to stay!

First the post holes are dug with the auger. Then there’s a lot of squaring and enlarging the holes (by hand!) with the post hole diggers.

The holes get inspected by our awesome Nelson County Building Inspector Jeremy and the concrete is mixed and poured.

Next morning the Big Saw comes out of hibernation. The 10″ blade circular saw is exciting to use and cuts the 8×8 posts in just two passes.

Beams go up and braces get notched and bolted, and the joists are in!

Pretty crazy three days for one person…
