A combination of bush-hogging with “tractoo” as Grace and Maeve used to call it, hiking with the chain saw, and some weed wacking has brought the trails up to where I want them to be.
Tracy, Murphy and I have been out hiking several times recently enjoying the moderate summer weather. It’s so nice to have a little time to enjoy all the hard work.
It’s a great time to be outdoors!
I’m also excited to have new maps! I chose the satellite picture view instead of the traditional topo map so you can see where you are in Nelson County. The trail signs are clear enough so most won’t need the map but I think it’s nice to be able to see where you are in relation to the surrounding area.
